• Approximate and/or precise location while the app is in use
• Used to calculate distance to shuttle vehicles and estimated arrival times

• University-managed authentication via Microsoft Entra ID / SSO
• We may receive limited profile identifiers (e.g., user ID)
• We do not collect or store passwords

c. Device & App Data

• Device type and operating system version
• App usage and crash diagnostics
• Push notification tokens

d. Optional Inputs

• Student ID number (if required by your institution)
• Scanned ID data (used only for validation purposes)

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Display shuttle routes and vehicle locations
• Estimate arrival times
• Send optional notifications
• Authenticate authorized users
• Maintain and improve app performance

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following services:

• Google Maps Platform – map display and routing
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) – secure authentication
• Utrack API – shuttle location and route data
• Cloud hosting providers – backend infrastructure

Each provider processes data in accordance with its own privacy policies.

5. Notifications

If enabled, the App may send notifications related to:

• Shuttle arrival estimates
• Service alerts or delays

You may disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

6. Data Retention

• Authentication and usage data is retained only as long as necessary
• Location data is not permanently stored
• Users may request data deletion (see Section 9)

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect data, including:

• Secure HTTPS connections
